Some Experience of Hypothermic-Hypotensive Treatment in Obstetrics

Abstract
|
|
|
Since Feb. 1962, hypothermic-hypotensive treatment was tried in 4 cases of fulminant toxemia of pregnancy. Previously ordinary treatment: was given but without satisfactory result. The treatment was conducted successfully in cooperation with the anesthesia department.
The body temperature was kept between 33°C and 35°C. Largactil, Pethidine, Apresoline and occasionally Pendiomid were used to obtain sedation and to control the B.P., according to the patient´s condition. We omit the description of detailed technique here.
